Dr. Nassiri is a former Associate Dean of Global Health at the Michigan State University (MSU). He also served as MSU director of Institute of International Health. He is currently Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Professor of Family and Community Medicine, and, lecturer in Global Health, Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine. He currently works on international public health issues relating to chronic diseases and has expertise in global health. He has made contributions in various fields of medical sciences including clinical investigation and health education. On the basis of his extensive experience and expertise in chronic infectious diseases including HIV/AIDS, TB as well as antimicrobial resistance and human gut microbiome, he developed clinical research programs in Brazil, South Africa, Haiti, Dominican Republic and Mexico. He had served as editorial board member for the journal of HIV and AIDS Review. He is currently on editorial board member for AIDS Patient Care and STDs. Prof. Nassiri has delivered seminar presentations on Tropical Medicine, HIV/AIDS, TB, Global Health and public health interventions in numerous national and international conferences and workshops. He is internationally recognized for his work in the areas of building effective international partnerships particularly in global health, community health, clinical care capacity building, and technical assistance mechanism. He is the founder of Michigan State University Osteopathic and Primary Health Clinic in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico. He has developed academic and research partnership programs with Federal University of Para Institute of Tropical Medicine in Belem, Brazil.

Dr Suchkov has been collaborating with scientists from USA, Japan, Germany, Israel and other countries to set up a new brand in the modern medicine,i.e., PPPM. In 1991-1998, He is a CoSupervisor over the Russian-American Agreement on scientific and clinical collaboration in the field of ocular immunology between Russian Academy of Sciences and National Institutes of Health (NIH); in 1991-1995, a member of The Reciprocal Exchange Fellowship Program between Russian Immunological Society and British Society for Immunology. He is an author of more than 500 publications including 10 patents and more than 10 monographs, handbooks and textbooks published in Russia and USA. Mark Feitelson received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology in 1979 from the UCLA School of Medicine. He was an American Cancer Society postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University from 1980-82, and was then recruited to the Fox Chase Cancer Center by Dr. Baruch Blumberg (Nobel laureate). In 1991, Dr. Feitelson became Associate Professor of Pathology and Cell Biology and head of the Molecular Diagnostics Lab in Microbiology at Thomas Jefferson University. In 2007, Dr. Feitelson moved to Temple University, where he is now Professor of Biology. His research has been supported by NIH, industry and foundations for more than 35 years, has more than 140 publications, and is presently head of the Professional Science Master’s program in Biotechnology at Temple University.

Dr. Liang is now Research Assistant Professor in State Key Laboratory of Digestive Disease, Department of Medicine and Therapeutics, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. With her expertise in cancer genomics, epigenetics, molecular biology, and new biomarker identification, she aims to elucidate relevant molecular mechanisms and to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets. As a young scientist, she has been the principal investigator for 7 external competitive grants (1 project supported by HMRF Hong Kong, 3 projects supported by NSFC China, 3 projects supported by municipal fund) and 3 internal university grants, and co-investigator for 13 other projects. Her work has resulted in publication of 35 peer-reviewed research articles, of which 16 are as first/co-first or corresponding author, 8 patents and 22 conference abstracts. She has delivered speeches at 9 international and 9 national/local conferences in recent 5 years, 6 of which are invited talks.
