The conditions affecting the entire neurological pathway or a single neuron of the nervous system are called neurological disorders. It affects the central and peripheral nervous systems. Usually, many viral, bacterial, parasitic, and fungal infections affect the nervous system. The symptoms of neurological disorders may be due to the immune response or due to the infection itself. There are more than 600 types of neurological disorders with different causes, complications, and results. The causes of these diseases are characterized by congenital causes, perinatal causes, and acquired causes. Many of the disorders are congenital or develop in the early years.
